The swivel design and mechanism work well. However, I had to slightly enlarge two holes (by 1/8 inch) to align them with the holes in my driver’s seat base. (I don’t know whether this was an issue on Ford’s or Scopema’s end.) Otherwise, installation went very smoothly on the passenger side, but on the driver’s side, the battery was too high to install the swivel. Even after checking the battery compartment, trimming the excess plastic from the battery protectors, and rerouting the wiring, I had to add about a 1/4-inch shim between the mechanism and the seat base. It’s a little disappointing, considering the product is supposed to be compatible with my model.
